What better time to encourage your kids to use ICE and to have a programmed cell phone and an ICE Card along on their trick or treat excursions. It is always best to accompany your children but once they reach a certain age they prefer to go it alone with their friends.Groups like Neighborhood Watch have historically provided some extra level of protection for the kids during Halloween and schools often will provide places for children to check their candy for things that don't belong there.
