Free ICE Kits - Still!

We have been doing this free giveaway for quite some time now....this public service is available to anyone who wishes to benefit from it.

Here is what you get presently......forms, stickers, cards, card holders......for the price of two stamps.....and two envelopes (business size #10 suggested).

If we are feeling generous or we get a nice note,  we often squeeze more into the envelope as many have found out already.

CampingSurvival.com has been generous enough to sponsor a variety of free items for many people.  For that we are grateful.

Thankfully the freedom of our capitalist system allows us to provide this public service just because we want to.  We hope to continue.

ICE - Simplified Carry

Uncomplicated and easy to use....that's ICE.

Here we have a simple yet effective clear self sticking card and med form carrier that can be used inside your work safety helmet, on your refrigerator, inside your vehicle or even at your company work station in the event of an emergency.

If you like, you can seal the opening with an ICE Sticker or tape so you can tell at a glance if the carrier was opened.

You can also carry the medical information and contact form here alone in the carrier or in combination with your particular ICE Card.  The new Emergency Medical Contact Form also contains an extended "Current Medication" listing on the back for those who happen to be taking a boatload of medicines for some ailment.  Download and print your own off the website.....

SASE will still get you these items for free anyway....so nothing to lose.

ICE Card Example

In accordance with our Keep It Simple (KISS) Policy here we will be constructing posters you can use at your exhibitions that clearly demonstrate how to complete an ICE Card in the event someone has a question.....this is but one way. Add them to the other "how to" posters we have online for free.

Make sure to use a good fine point pen like a Space Pen or similar write anywhere ink version as water markers won't work well and smear/smudge.

Note that the order of the contacts could reflect the same order you have on your cell phone using the E.123 Method (Best - Simple - Works on All Phones 01, 02, 03....) and you can change these anytime just by making out another card.

Try your best to be consistent in this area because in the confusion of a full blown emergency many mistakes can and will likely be made.....remember that so you are not disappointed. If you use ICE you can certainly reduce the likelihood of an error or miscommunication taking place.

ICE Success Story

A note from a fellow Safety Professional about his company using ICE 8-3-09

Mark: Thanks for the email.

ICE has gone over very well here at Virginia Forge Company.

We are a small plant in rural Buchanan, VA and all of our 45+ employees have been quite enthusiastic about all aspects of ICE. I used the Avery templates to print 80 regular ICE cards to begin with.

Within a week, all 80 were gone and I had requests for more. Some were also asking for cards with medical info on them. So I printed 40 of those. Today, I have 4 left.

Stickers, and any other info, would be great.

As for the Smart ICE app, I have it on my iPod and have put up a poster with the info for everyone else. I have also encouraged all to check out all your advertisers.

I think this is a great service and am promoting it whenever I can. Once again, thanks so much for all your efforts.
