Haitian Disaster

This can be your neighborhood. This is truly a terrible disaster....
72 hours after the quake hit, little if any aid has been distributed - violent gangs and murder /riots prevail and add to the desperation and urgency.
Yet this is a stark reminder why you should actively consider having a family disaster response plan and being prepared to withstand the initial shock of such an event.
If you think you are immune to this because of where you live - think again. Masses of people without food
or water will do anything to get it - even if it means taking it from you by force.
What are you going to do for at least the first 72 hours much less 30 days after?
Can you afford to wait?
